I’m proud to announce that my beautiful wife is just over 3 months pregnant with our first child!! I know that this is a movie blog, but I feel as though some of you virtual cyber friends would maybe like to hear my news. And if not, I’m telling you anyway! 
Thanks to some of you crazy fools, I’m proud to announce that I have been nominated for 3 Lammy Awards! This was truly a pleasant surprise, and I just wanted to say a few quick words about these nominations.
Hey folks, hope you all had a great Easter weekend. I took some time away from the blog and I’m back and raring to go. Lets start with my entry into a blogathon currently doing the rounds. My good friend Sir Phobos from Knights of Mars Roundtable kindly chose to make me do some work for him, so let’s do this!
Hey folks. I just wanted to use today’s post to update you on a few things happening around these parts, and then talk about a project on the horizon in which I may be asking for volunteers.
I first started messing with a new look and theme towards the end of last year. Like most things in my life, I kept putting it off and tweaking bits and coming back to it. Now I have finally pulled the plug and hopefully you are looking at a much cleaner and ideally better Head In A Vice.
Having been lucky enough to have received a few of the awards the get passed around various blogs, this is the first time I have seen this ‘tag‘ game. I didn’t think it would be something I would get involved with, basically because I’m lazy, but since three people have all tagged me I feel I should do my bit.
Around 10 days or so ago, I wrote a pleading/begging/grovelling/whatever you want to call it post about trying to bring bloggers together. More specifically, trying to get us to work with each other and share our hard-earned posts to a potentially wider audience. Just to wrap up this little series, I’m going to share my findings and see how we can continue this long-term, in the hope of us all benefiting from it.
Wow!! What a response to my initial Call To Arms! THANKYOU, and it seems I was right to think people would want more views to their site! Ultimately, we all want to be heard and read, that’s why we do this blogging thing. The reaction has been amazing, and I want to give you an update and offer up some feedback from the past couple of days.
I just want to do something a little different today, as I want to see if there is a way we can help each other bring a few more visitors to our sites. It requires hardly any effort, and could benefit us all in the long run.
Today I just want to say a few things, offer some thanks and show some love to people and their sites who have helped shape my 6 months in blogging.
