After just 3 short weeks of my blog being public, imagine my surprise when not one but two people passed on this award to me. I would like to say a huge thanks and I’m so not worthy to Jamie over at Aloha Mr Hand and J Mount at Written In Blood. I can’t begin to tell you how deeply humbled I am by your kindness. To people that don’t blog it may be a meaningless achievement, but to me and I’m sure most people who do this blogging thing anything positive passed on from your peers is a truly humbling and kind gesture, and one which gives me the feeling that my blog is being read and making a tiny bit of an impression on people.
EDIT: I have been lucky enough to keep getting nominations from other sites for this award, so rather than continue to make new posts every time, if I ever get nominated for The Versatile Blogger again I will just update my list of sites to link back to below and please follow them. Thank you to everyone that considers and chooses Head In A Vice.

Anyway, as a wise man called Jigsaw once said ‘there are rules’ and I have to do a few things now in my acceptance of this award.
1. In a post on your blog, nominate 10 fellow bloggers for The Versatile Blogger Award; and link to them.
2. In the same post, add the Versatile Blogger Award.
3. In the same post, thank the blogger who nominated you in a post with a link back to their blog.
4. In the same post, share 10 completely random pieces of information about yourself.

So starting with rule number 1, here are 10 fellow bloggers who I wish to nominate. They have all helped guide me on my path as I look for ideas and inspiration on their blogs and they help on my site by liking and commenting. It was hard to choose 10 as so many people have contributed and influenced me. I apologise for anyone I missed out, please believe me when I say I appreciate every single view, like and comment on here and hopefully Head In A Vice will continue to grow and improve with all of your help.
In no particular order here are my 10 bloggers:
I have informed the 10 names above so that’s another rule checked off. Finally I need to share 10 completely random pieces of information about myself. Here goes:
1) My favourite video game of all time is Shenmue.
2) I’m a black belt in Ju-Jitsu.
3) I’ve had 3 cats and love them all more than anything (except my wife, she made me add that!)
4) I have an unhealthy obsession (not my words) with Jared Leto. I went to jelly when I met him.
5) I love Alan Partridge (please youtube him if you’ve never heard of him!)
6) I very nearly made it as a professional football (soccer) player until injury got my contract ripped up.
7) My favourite football (soccer) player is Francesco Totti.
8) One day I will write a book.
9) I share many characteristics with the serial killer Dexter Morgan on the TV show Dexter apparently (aside from the killing aspect, obviously)
10) My favourite band is 30 Seconds To Mars.
Well, that’s everything. All that’s left for me to say is thanks again to Jamie, John, STD, LOstnWOnderland, & Parlor of Horror, you guys & girls have made me very proud and I’m so grateful. To everyone else, your support means so much and I can’t thank you enough for reading and helping Head In A Vice take shape. I hope to continue meeting many more new friends and discovering more incredible blogs.

Hey Tyson – thanks so much for your nomination. Having read about these awards around the blogosphere, I have decided to deal with the award in a peculiar fashion; it’s sort of a long story, but basically I will post about this award at some point thanking you and passing on the good will. For the moment, however, I am going to hold onto it until I have a larger group of bloggers that I can actually choose from to make the award more meaningful.
